STRATECO's LAWSUIT

STRATECO's LAWSUITStrateco's lawsuit is a special case which is complex to understand. There has been several meetings between parties involved. The legal debate, so to speak, or court trial is scheduled for 2016 before the Quebec Superior Court in Montreal. It doesn't appear that the Quebec government will authorize the project as it would have announced so at the time when Strateco initially sued the Quebec government. It would be both a waste of time and money to let this legal matter go ahead and then for the government to approve the Matoush project. My personal prospect is that Strateco shareholders will end up receiving a modest amount of financial compensation. Lawsuits are not generally awarded their full amount and the Third Eye Capital funding announced recently could reduce up to 25% the settlement amount of the lawsuit. If Strateco wins and the Quebec government goes into appeal, the case could be challenged up to the Supreme Court of Canada. In my view, Strateco shareholders will be very luck if they get $0.20/share at the end of the process.
