TORONTO, Dec. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ - Primero Mining Corp. ("Primero" or the "Company") (TSX:P, NYSE:PPP, ASX:PPM) and Brigus

Gold Corp.("Brigus") (NYSE:BRD; TSX:BRD) today announced that they have entered into an arrangement agreement (the "Agreement") whereby Primero will acquire all outstanding common shares of Brigus pursuant to a plan of arrangement (the"Arrangement") to create a diversified, Americas based mid-tier gold producer.

Not surprising that Brigus is being taken over but as well is surprising that with the results and associated valuations being returned from the Black-Grey Fox projects that management would have deemed the offered price anywhere close to being acceptable in the current market. This situation is going to make major contributions towards St. Andrews future opportunities.

My feeling exactly TedOwens. Apply the same metrics that BGD was taken out at to SAS and you get a much higher price than 23 cents. I wouldn't be surprised to see SAS trade higher once tax loss selling is behind us.
