If the royalty is only 1% from Taylor then this will be a cash cow. There was 40,000 oz/yr planned production from Taylor BEFORE the 25% grade increase to 9 gpt. With the increase this gets to 50,000 oz/yr. That is a +50% increase in annual production from the 90,000 oz or so produced last year. What is Primero waiting for? This is surely going to get away from them...

It is unlikely that relying on Taylor coming online anytime soon would be feasible due in large part to the lack of financing that would be needed to bring it up to speed within a timeline that would make much difference to the companies share price in the near term. Near term circumstances for production companies such as St. Andrews would range between 12 to 24 months and in further ...more

Ted Owens I went back to SAS nov 2014 presentation to verify your statements : Taylor 1- production > 1 year 2.- decision 1st half 2015 (now Feb 2015) 3. -annual production forecast 41,000 oz 4.- the ramp is ahead of schedule 5.- estimated capex $50.0 mil 6.-Their track record under promise / over deliver replace or add reserves when gold drops write off oz many small producers should adopt ...more
