Flower bowls
I equate Stelco buying a 40 % interest in the Tiger Cats to me putting a few Flower Bowls in front of my house . It doesn't cost much but it makes my home look more valuable . To me , spending less than ONE PERCENT of this years cash flow on promotion and Community good will is a great use of funds . We will have a much clearer picture of Stelco's future after this auction process plays out . Just one retired salesman's opinion .

Consider that this miniscule investment may be an investment in local politics to put a kind face on the company prior to a pending request for local political favours such as bylaws or rezoning.
