Looks like Steel stocks are taking off again big time.

Steel prices are driving up quickly, Stelco is the low cost producer, making money hand over fist with over a billion in the bank already!!

Algoma Steel just announced guidance stating lower shipments again for 1st Q (their 4th Q) Expected a significant "increase" in shipments. The shipments weren't down by much but EBITDA is expected to be about 32% lower than the previous quarter .. which is rather concerning. Stelco SP has been on a tear of late .. will be interesting to see if they release some 1st Q guidance prior ...more
