COME TO PAPPA!........LONG$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ READ HIGHLIGHTED BELOW!! ------------------------------------------------------- News Release (NR 07-19) – June 20, 2007 Trading Symbol: TSX Venture: SNO Shares Issued: 74,126,953 UPDATE Snowfield Development Corp. (“Snowfield” or the “Company”) takes this opportunity to update its shareholders and interested parties on developments at its Ticho Project, located approximately 55 km south east of Yellowknife, N. W. T. The Ticho Project hosts the diamondiferous Mud Lake kimberlite. The Company is currently in the process of extracting a 500 tonne bulk sample of kimberlite to assist in evaluating the commercial viability of this discovery. The Ticho Project covers an area of approximately 16,000 ha (40,000 acres), with the Mud Lake kimberlite currently defined over an area of 14 ha (34 acres) and open in three directions. Summer 2007 Exploration Snowfield has recently received data generated from a soil-sampling program carried out on ground to the east and north of the Mud Lake kimberlite and down-ice from targets established from an airborne mag survey conducted in April 2007. The data derived from this soil-sampling program included elevated kimberlite indicator mineral (kim) counts consistent with three, and possibly four, discrete mineral trains leading toward the aforementioned geophysical targets. Crews have been mobilized this week to conduct follow-up exploration, including further soil-sampling grids, ground geophysical truthing, prospecting and other field exploration, as deemed necessary. This program will continue for the remainder of the summer 2007 season. Snowfield anticipates the mobilization of two diamond drill crews during the week of June 25, 2007. These crews will test the new targets and previously identified geochemical and geophysical anomalies. Helicopter mobilization has also been scheduled to transport a rig to the highest priority target. Mud Lake Bulk Sample Snowfield has been informed by its Project Superintendent that the contractor engaged to provide access to, and extraction of, the 500 tonnes of kimberlite, has now mobilized a second high speed drill to the site to facilitate completion of this project in a timely manner. The contractor has notified the relevant authorities that it intends to carry out daily blasting over the next ten days and operations are again being carried out on a 24 hour basis. This will ensure that the kimberlite sample will be delivered to DeBeers Canada Exploration Ltd. (DeBeers) Dense Media Separation plant, located in Grande Prairie, Alberta, in a timely manner to coincide with the Plant’s ability to process the material. DeBeers have confirmed that they anticipate being able to process kimberlite in early August 2007. On behalf of the Board of Directors, Snowfield Development Corp.
