We are getting somewehere, I think.
For my wrap on this, Facebook - I agree, it is geared at consumers and that is all it should be aimed at. Word of mouth between consumers is the best advertising you can get. I've mentioned the Facebook connection here but haven't seen much of anyone spreading the word on that site. I think the likes over almost a year are between 100-200, pretty sad for a wannabe worldwide product compared to many unknown kids who have thousands of friends on that social program. Oh, and I'm glad to report that the team has now updated Facebook so searches for Eers will be sent to the Sculpted Eers page. They can thank me for that suggestion later.
Insofar as legwork; CES and NAMM. Business gets done there yes; but successful businesses do their negotiating, planning, contract development and final agreements before then so they can announce it while they are there together. Sonomax announced Arabian Prince there. Better than nothing I suppose, except Leo Laporte mentioned when he was testing the in-line mic in Januaury that he had met Arabian Prince at CES but he was surprised because he'd never heard of him. It's only another small thing, but makes me wonder who's listening to the comments they put out.
Lastly, cash. I see you didn't answer my question about it. I still wonder how they are surviving.
I think that this morning's announcement about the product refers to "Sculpted Eers" now being available in the UK. Regardless that it seems to me to be in response to demands for news, I thought the product was now called "Eers."
