RE: RE: Wind Power
RE: RE: Wind PowerWind is not the answer, I should know because I spend most of my time looking for windy spots around the west coast for kite boarding, I run a kite surfing school. What you want for a wind turbine or a kiting location is 20 knots steady 12 to 24 hours a day. I can tell you that these spots are pretty rare. It is constant wind you want and the few spots that it is the wind is good it doesn't blow all the time even there.
Don't believe me??
Want to do your own DD?
Here is a link to a site that has wind meters all over the world, really great wind spot resource.
See for your self how rare good wind spots are.
