Excelerating poplation growth
Excelerating poplation growthOur population doubled in 40 years to 7 billion....at this rate, in 20 years it will be between 10 and 11 billion. Most of that growth will be in developing countries. Many will immigrate to the west, and our population will go up significantly. The increase will be unstoppable and so will the thirst first electricity. You can only make so many dams as real estate is already selling at a premium. Gas and Coal are dirty and we cannot afford to put more pollutants in the air. Solar and wind are intermittent at best and cannot be relied upon for base load use. This only leaves nuclear as a clear alternative for base load use. By 2013, I'd be surprised if Uranium isn't selling in the 90 to 100 or more if the U.S. dollar keeps degrading at this rate. Your thoughts are welcome.
