Macro View So Important

Macro View So ImportantOUCH!!! I have tried to tell you many times over the last 2 weeks that Verde in Brazil is as fed up with the Cartels as China....they are making it happen..."brazil wants to be fertilizer independant within 10 years"...might be even sooner than that?
Looks like 6 million tons (10% of global production) is not going to be needed from Canada via Sask. real soon..but not to worry kiddo...maybe they are just kidding about Open Pitt Mining...low operating costs...and no shipping costs overseas...and no Cartel Pricing...you want to bet any major gets the green light to spend billions on a new greenfield in Sask?....ya I know all about what K+S has said they are going to spend....the last nail in this koom by ya session in Sask. will come when China takes a much larger position in their investment in Kazakhstan...$200 m so far...and the government has mandate further aquisitions of essential raw materials...
In this situation....less is more...less in your backyard is just fine with me...I will watch how this plays out...due dilligence demands a complete...overall risk assessment and includes finacial risks to investing 10 times more for the mine and processing plant than for the land with the resource in it?...
Brazil might be way down south...but they have not been hit with the "stupid brick"...
These two EVENTS...China into Kazakhstan....and Brazil open pitt mining...should put up your radar...if not...its your money...(bring back Mjoy...at least she was somewhat balanced...and did not have split personalities...and for krist sakes change your avatar back to Mjoy...or pull the skirt down on that avatar...its hard to take you serious with that in your face!!!...and if not have a nice life...and next one...its just Karma)

Verde Potash Successfully Produces KCl from its Potash Resources Amenable to Strip Mining

December 1, 2011 (Source: NASDAQ) -- Verde Potash Plc (NPK.V) said it has successfully operated a continuous rotary kiln pilot plant to produce Potassium Chloride ('KCl'), the conventional potash fertilizer. Verde has engaged SRK Consulting (U.S.), Inc. to complete a review of capital and operating costs and should be in a position to reveal results in Q1 2012. "This achievement marks a significant possible opportunity for Brazil, one of the world's largest importers and consumers of KCl, to supply more of its potash requirements from its domestic resources," it said.

Verde said it controls a very large potash resource amenable to strip mining and strategically located in Minas Gerais State, Brazil. The company's current potash resource could support a six million tonnes per annum KCl production scenario for over twenty years, though Verde is considering a scalable production strategy, it added.

The current selling price for KCl in Brazil's Cerrado is US$660/tonne. Brazil imported 6.4 million tonnes of KCl from January to October this year.
