"While I agree with everything you mentioned about what "one would think" regarding issuance of the mining permit, we should remain mindful of the caution Sodome presented a while back. Government permits are not slam dunks. Even key Ethiopian ministers visiting with analysts on tour do not guarantee timely permitting. I remain optimistic that AAA will receive that permit, but there is a reason the last NR stated it was expected in a few months, and not in a couple months, or within a month, or within weeks...."
