RE:Bad news for the basher crowd.so in reading the numbers of Yara, the probable numbers that would come in for the pea of SOP should be similar.. We have to remember that 1 mil tonnes is more efficient than their 600 000 tonnes. So, My estimates would be the capex (excluding any road or port infrastructure that has already been accounted for) should be at 850 mil to 1 bil. and the opex I would expect to be around 125-150 (more efficient because of the 1 mil tonnes compared to 600 000 and also shorter trucking distance than yara.) If you consider the economics, it is much more profitable than our mop operations.. Oh and also, the bashers were saying "it may not be possible to actually mine this type of SOP" After all the tests and the expertise of .... YARA, I think they would have done a little bit of their homework to see if it was possible.... don't you think? or is that a new conspiracy? .. oh ya, the pirates.. that will be next once again.
