If the deals are accreative then the money raised is well used. How do you propose they grow without equity isssues. REITS have to pay out 90%.

I didn't make any comment on whether or not another equity issue was good or bad...just stated the facts. However, if they had not done the issue in March, they could have raised more today (or issued fewer units for the same money) since the price is higher now.

my bad - apologies.  What do you feel about this raise? Most bought deals - the price dips below the issue price (other than certain issues like the recently completed Rogers Sugar deal which was 10% accreative). GLTA

When they did the share issue in March, the price dropped from around $6.20 to about $6 which was the new issue price. But it recovered and went even higher just a few weeks later. Hopefully, we'll see a similar pattern this time. I can't see the price staying down for long considering the current yield and that as you mentioned, the new deal is immediately accretive. Thanks - I have been a holder since it was in the 3's.  If it drops - will pick up some tomorrow - buying tomorrow will also qualify it for the July dividends.  GLTA

Issue is still open - big offering and very close to the other one. Pure Family REIT did the same thing and is well below the new issue price.  I think this will drop to around 6.20 or so - good pick up since will qualify for the dividend for this month also.  If it does not drop below issue price then the issue is open to be subscribed.

Issue closed at TD. Trading seems really controlled.  High of 6.41 - Low of 6.40 same as issue price.

Nice that the share price did not go below issue price. I had sold all of my shares when it hit the $7 mark. Used this opportunity to get right back in. And also as you pointed out just in time to collect the divy. This is such a great stock to own, great managment and focused goals. Happy investing. Russ
