Would I be correct in assuming  that the market did not like spending 1/3 of the market cap for assets of about 20% as large as what they have (admittedly with more oil mix but they already have ...more

Sell off is getting nasty looks like shorts are going to get it down under 10 stock is almost  3 months low  all gains vapurated in couple of days .

Surely they have the fire  power to get this back to issue price by when the deal closes. IMO
