RE: dont complain people and just buy!! I was looking at a newspaper from January 1990 recently. American Barrick and Placer Dome were quoted around $23 each and gold was about $450.
I did a little research.
Barrickj bought Placer in 2005..

With the reserves and inflation over the periiod most of the gold stocks have done nothing for years.
