AIR CANADA - CARGOLets not forget Air Canada's pivot to Cargo., while this measure may have been as a result to adjusting to the Pandemic, lets look at the metric for Cargojet:
Cargojet Share Float: 17.3 Milllion
Cargo jet Share Price: $209 CAD as of Feb 10, 2021
Market Cap: $3.6 Billion
Air Canada Share Float: 335 Million
Air Canada Share Price: $21 CAD as of Feb 10, 2021
Market Cap: $7 Billion
Based on the above metrics, Air Canada is only being evaluated on its Travel Business segment at pandemic level.
If Air Canada were to successfully pivot to Cargo, they could increase their market cap by another $3.6 Billion.
So even with the Pandemic Air Canada can lift it's market cap up to $9.6 Billion, which in theory should result in a share price to $28 to $29 witout factoring in Travel business or any sector relief.
Once the pandemic is over, and if they continue with Cargo Business, i envisage a share price close to $100...based on pent up demand, business and leasure.
Above is just my opinion, do not buy sell or hold based on what you read here.......
