RE:FinancialsAs I said before, Air Canada is fully valued for recovery! However, with each quarter that valuation diminishes. With todays financials another billion in losses out the door or about 3 bucks a share. Full valuation at $25 minus 3 now puts full valuation assuming recovery at $22.
That said, because AC has pricing power as part of what is essentially a duopoly domestically so they may be able to achieve a quicker turn around by raping and pillaging the Canadian customer. Needless to say in many instances that will work in the short term but will result in loss of loyalty and competition seeing high airline prices will move in.
Also, something not in the equation as yet is the Amercian consumer. An estimated 50% of Americans are not vaccinated essentially locking them out of Canadian sky's in the near term and maybe even mid to longer term...
Saving grace might be Canadian bonehead flyers like OTBone, IBone and Jbone who pay too much too fly as they drink the Aeroplan Koolaid!
