Book Value Ouch!

US airlines are trading from 3-5 times book value high but OK considering the Pandemic and earning potential.

Air Canada on the other hand, is tading at almost 15 times book value ouch!   In theory, if it were
3-5 times AC would be well under $10.

Net debt for 2023 even the more optimistic analyst put it over 6 billion.  Remember we are now a year behind on the recovery curve.  We are almost in 2022 and AC is still losing money and most analyst project a small net loss for 2022 as well so paying down debt will be a struggle the longer they continue to lose money. Rouge funny how you mention the above but not the using of 22 ...more
