RE:RE:RE:RE:Don't panic, they just want your sharesIf you mean NEVER average down on garbage worthless paper stocks... maybe. As those fluctuations are usually a huge leap followed by a non-returning tumble.
With valuable companies, averaging down has also done me quite good!
For instance, if your not sure of a price movement, and your coming off a recent high, looking for an entry. Put in a small 1/3 shareholding. That way your're in the game, and still have room to invest more in case it dips. Your not going for broke on your first order, and allow room for market fluctuation! :)
