What's your forecast?
New to the forum and the market but Ive been watching this forum for a while, so thought Id contribute I figure it will stay steady for the next week or two at 2.6-2.7 given the hype of the company and its graduation from venture. I think it will drop down in the next few weeks to 2.3 range with this hype gone, but will then start gaining again in early fall as the financials continue to improve and progression of the company projects are updated on. Saw predictions of it in the 10-15 range in two years. I am cautiously optimistic but believe it will be more 5-10 at that time. Why?: The stock is still expensive for the revenues/returns it represents, it is being sold on speculation and potential (which I think ACB is top rank in the Canadian industry for and why I bought in). Consequently the numbers will need to catch up for the stock to be elevated substantially, but I am fully confident this will happen, just a matter of when. On that note, I foresee a lag in the provinces after legalization on July 1, 2018 so I dont see recreational product being sold until much later on. I watched Alaska go through this, its been very slow. Consequently there will be a continued reliability for revenues on the medicinal side while provinces figure out their structure and stock price will not skyrocket at that time because of it. Either way, itll be a little bumpy around July 2018 as the market will pump and dump to make short term cash - like what we saw in April. I dont know what the stability of the different products is (oils, buds) but I suspect oils would be more stable and their production will help create a stock. It could hurt though to have the Edmonton facility open and producing but no open market to sell. However if the product has enough shelf life it could be good long term. That is my take. I could (and likely will) be wrong, but interested in seeing what others thoughts are and why they have come to that conclusion. I think ACB is the best positions and everyone will win if they are patient enough. In summary, buy now, buy in the dips, and hold. Laugh yourself to sleep on pile of money in 5-10 years.
