RE:The Shopper's Drug Mart news is good for everyone Being serious for a moment, Clearly this is NOT good for Aurora. You now have the Aphria deal, the Maricann Group deal, and Cannimed's deal with Pharma choice. None of this is good for Aurora if they are not successful in purchasing Cannimed for business purposes in Canada. IF Aurora fails with Cannimed they are being left far behind on the medical front going forward...as the writing is clearly on the wall.
I wish Aurora would realize the reasons Cannimed wants to complete the Newstrike transaction and the immediate value from market presence, visibility, brand establishment, and penetration in both the Medical and recreational market.
UGH, If Aurora on this one deal could recognize they need to rewrite their offer to include the combination of Newstrike and Cannimed and Aurora THEN Aurora will be perhaps well on there way to being number 1 in the Canadian space come July.
