This arguement is a mute point.

People are going to grow anyways. Small personal setups are not preventable. Who cares. These people are going to buy more than your average consumer anyways. People that brew beer enjoy trying other products more so than casual drinkers. Same mentality here. Growing quality isn't as easy as it sounds. Granted some of these Northern Lights boxes are pretty turnkey. These types of products should be promoted for safety reasons. Improper electrical should be heavily fined. Improper venting fined and so on. Everything designed to steer towards safety. Communicate and educate the masses oh the legit dangers of some of these home grow DYI setups. I am a sparky and have seen some wild stuff. Mostly around stealing power before the meters. CRAZY !!!! 

You can make your own beer/wine. You just can;t sell it, Same should apply. 

Put a limit on size and intense punishment for those that are still commercially growing bm. 

Trying to micromanage this has already proven failure and the reason why we are now going legal. They are going to have to let the dust settle and see how the masses react.
