Don't stress to much.  A lot of us here are amateurs, if not most.  I bought WEED back in 2017 at $13+ and it then went down into the 8's.  I was also discouraged but I held tight and it went back up. I took profit in the mid $60 and everything worked out.  
This industry is still in it infancy and will need a while to work out all the bugs.  Hold tight and you will reap the reward.  All good things to those who wait.  
You may get tempted to short, and this too can make a lot of money quick, but look at your position first before you enter into such and endeavor.  If you have a strong position and can afford to lose some ground from mistakes then you could consider it.  If not just hold strong and increase your position slowly when the markets are down.  It will pay off considerably in the long run
