The reason is twofold. SH is swamped with abuse tickets and they only act if enough people report the offender They want you to use the ignore button so they won't be bothered but that won't stop the constant bashing They will let a lot go and that's what the bashers that park themselves on a board depend on.
If it's serious enough then the more effective course of action is to complain in this case to Aurora itself citing the offender's name and some of his defamatory remarks. Ask IR to contact Stockhouse. SH may not listen to us but they will act promptly when faced with complaints from a company's legal department.
In the end does it really matter? The market doesn't listen to bashers. The best way to combat a basher boiler room is for management to give us more green days then red and for that they need to sign some corporate partnership deals that the market can applaud. Look what id did for CRON, a company that will only produce a fraction of what Aurora will. The company says give us time and we will deliver a rosy future but what's wrong with both a rosy future and a rosy present to help with the wait?
