Regardless of the particular company..this year and next will likely be defined by major industry consolidation.
Whether it's Aurora, Canopy, Aleafea, VIVO, Tilray etc. etc. , it appears to be the broad consensus that there must and will be a narrowing of competitors.
This isn't because of poor management at any specific one.
Rather it is purely a matter of economies of scale, use of a variety of niches and cross utilization of multiple technologies.
Of course, there will still be cottage industry/specialty blends and products.
Cannabis operations got off to a variety of concepts and financing starts, some of which played out well, while others haven't.
Some good luck, some bad luck and some unfortunate timng.
It really doesn't matter what we read about various companies and their founders in these forums, the majority of input is purely personal opinions, ill-founded logic, some genuine research and a lot of taunting/teasing/craa...p.
No question that there are a few bad apples and companies here as throughout the world of commerce but the majority of people are hard working, hopeful, intelligent, aggressive entrepreneurs with mixed business, life experience backgrounds.
Look to Stockhouse for entertainment and rare bits of useful/thoughtful comment and ignore (I.e. Actually put them on ignore ) the writers who appear to have nothing better to do than denigrate others.
Most of the companies that exist today, will still exist tomorrow in spite of what some choose to say about them.
However, many of them will be around as part of another company.
Nothing wrong with that.
