Right now the provincial governments are saying there isn't enough supply to warrant a quicker pace to open more pot shops but that is set to change as more product becomes available from the LPs. You must realize the government is walking a fine line in terms of public acceptance with a federal election looming. This going to be an election where every vote is going to count and they can't risk alienating a segment of the population who agree with legalization as long as there are strict controls. You don't want parents up in arms when their kids see flashy ads about recreactional mj. Give it time and the rules will be relaxed. In the meantime they need more brick & mortar stores so that anybody that wants to buy the stuff can shop without the product running out and has an easy commute.
