BigKahuna,
Just to assure myself that you were mistaken in your guess (I suspect that most of your posts are guesses or fabrications), I decided to dig through some of my old documents to see if you were right. After a diligent search, I discovered a document issued by the University of Alberta hanging on the wall just in front of me. "What are you? BLIND?" I asked myself? Of course, being the gentleman I am (unlike that rude Dr House guy on TV or those Yankee politicians trying to convince American citizens to make them President), I refused to answer myself.
At the bottom of this U of A document appears the name, Fred T Jenner, Chairman of the Board. I am sure that this is the same Fred Jenner i mentioned in a post last week who owned Jenner Motors on Jasper Ave in Edmonton. What an incredible coincidence!
Hang on, while I examine the next document hanging on the wall in front of me, also issued by the U of A.
Ah'll be back!!
(Interesting! Both of these documents, plus one other document from another educational institution, were framed by The Burlington Art Shop, then located on the south side Jasper Ave between 103 St and 104 St. Like Jenner Motors, also out of business for many years.)
