RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Goodbye US DollarOddly enough Venezaulens are using Gold to buy just about everything right now and a carryable currency that does not diminish in value makes sense.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-10-20/venezuelans-break-off-flakes-of-gold-to-pay-for-meals-haircuts#:~:text=In%20parts%20of%20southeastern%20Venezuela,loaded%20with%20the%20precious%20metal.

Silver and copper are better electrical conductors than gold and copper is still much cheaper.

All that aside it looks like AEM just broke out of its trading pattern.  I would like to see this closer to $100 by X-mas than $80.  Can the Fed really try to slow inflation and keep gold prices down?  Pretty good magic trick in financials.

I'm not a big fan of crypto, but if that's the way we are going with financials, I don't see a connection to electronic finances and a material store of value in that world. Hypothetically, if power goes down you can't buy anything with electronic finances even if your a crypto millionaire and your not gonna use gold bullion to buy a Coke with your McDonalds.
