  I too think gold is trading low, but I'm not interested in it from a currency, inflation or other financially unmeasurable perspective, tho movements from those perceptions are nice. I'm interested in it as an industrial commodity, with major energy shifts and more reliance on different forms of electricity, gold is one of the best if not the best conduit metal and I can see it

Part 2... cause I pressed the post button while scrolling...   I'm not a big fan of crypto, but if that's the way we are going with financials, I don't see a connection to electronic finances and a material store of value in that world. Hypothetically, if power goes down you can't buy anything with electronic finances even if your a crypto millionaire and your not gonna use

Keep in mind Silver and Copper tarnish/oxidize when exposed to O2 and H2O over time and loses conductivity because of it, where as Gold is much more corrosion resistant in the elements and holds its conductivity value. Use depends on type and quality of application.

Yeah thats why it is specefied for some military and aerospace applications.  I think it might make the cost of EVs that much more expensive than neccessary. If it were to help with battery life though it might be worth it. GLTY
