Dividend movement in upcoming monthsThe next 5 months should be interesting to watch and predict what happens.
At the end of October we should get anouther dividend announcement, but should it not be elevated it would break a streak of 7 years of growing yearly payouts. Usually the payout increases come in the February announcement, but we did not receive one this year.
It has made sence that we haven't increased the payout if you take into consideration the CAPEX we have invested in projects to grow the company organically and also the other purchases made recently was likely a better use of capital.
I don't put much thought into lists of companies with long streaks of payout increases, tho I do like the comfort in knowing when a company I hold does so, but I also don't think it makes sence to remove ourselves from one of these lists for no real reason and some investors do have an interest in seeing this in companies they hold or consider holding.
I anticipate we are heading towards an increase at some point in the near future, but I expected/have hoped for one every quarter since February. It would be good to see a token increase in October even if it is only like 41 cent announcement so to keep the essentially meaningless streak alive, but with the overall growth in the company this year, I could see 45 cents (or more) coming too us sooner than later.
