RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: excitement - selling?Hi intel_analyst:
You hit the nail right on the head. "You can win with any stock, or lose with any stock". The most important key is - what is your entry price?
Two friends of mine both own TCK.B. One bought in long ago at about $45, one bought in at $5 when it rose from the graveyard price of $3+ in March 2009. One is still waiting to recover his cost, while the other one is sitting on an 8 times profit! This is the frustration about investment.
With hindsight I think I paid too much for FR at $4.15 when silver price peaked and was just about to wane. It's an error in judgment that I'll likely have to pay to get out. Failing that I can throw more money at it to average down and hope to get out a little easier. If FR is not such a thinly traded share I would say do it and wait for the next silver up cycle. I have averaged down before and actually got out with a profit, but that stock is much more heavily traded than FR. In FR's case i don't wan to catch "a falling knife" and get into a deeper hole.
"You gotta know when to hold'em and when to fold'em".
Cheers.
