It's too quiet.

My spider senses are tingling. I have shares of Algoma Central and phoned the CFO a few times last summer when I couldn't figure out why they stopped buying back their shares in their normal course issuer bid. They never answered. Now AGF isn't buying either. Time for a special dividend and/or substantial increase in the dividend? Stay tuned!

This morning's bid/ask of 7.75/7.75 is a pleasant surprise. I know it is far too early for this to be meaningful, but it's been years since the stock's been at this level. Maybe the market hitting new highs for three months has finally pushed up the value of AGF's funds.
