Yes, I sure did learn the hard way. This was one of my first investments and I thought I was doing the right thing. Since then, I’ve reallocated some to my RRSP and regular investment accounts. I’ve got another one in the red and am kicking myself for not leaving it in my investment account before moving it to my TFSA. I lost some important room in my TFSA but learned a lesson. Again, overall I’m doing ok (Canopy up over 1000% and Shop has doubled for example). Not too shabby for a gal on her own trying to learn.
Wish I had your advice a few years ago. Thanks.
