poor guidance

poor guidanceVery poor guidance from management here...

I bought into AIF about 2 months ago, at just under $12.  Before buying, I called investor relations to confirm their dividend policy.  I was assured that the company planned on paying a quarterly dividend of
.30 for the remainder of 2011.

Then, 2 months later...boom!  Divvy cut in half.

Now I'm not expecting management to inform me of their plans, but you can see how this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.  I'm primarily an income investor, and bought this stock for the yield, near its then 52-wk low, hoping for some long-term capital gains as well.  Now, I'm in for the long haul just to recover my capital.

You can't win them all.
