Reverse stock split?

Just a thought I'm having today. Considering institutional investors often need a share price to be above a set threshold, does it make sense for Almonty to do a reverse stock split and get the price up around $5-10?
What would be the cons against this?
The pros seem obvious.

Liquidity is already a major problem with this stock a reverse split would only make it worse.  Just my thoughts. . . whois

I'm definitely not saying your wrong whois, but that seems counterintuitive. Based on the piddly volume we see, it seems there is a demand problem for our shares. My thought was that if the shares become available to large buyers outside of the insider crew and us long-term holders, then demand goes up and the share price does too very quickly. the "problem" with Almonty is that most stockholders simply know what this will be worth and are not selling the stock. on one side it's a curse, but on the other it reflects the strong fundamentals of the company. i have never seen this so extrem as here. nobody wants to part with their shares at these prices; hence the low volume  just look at the asx ipo; it appears we have ...more

I have owned and still own a lot of stocks that have gone through reverse split.. Without exception, it does not help and the share price declin a lot more then the reverse ratio. If there are no other catalysts to drive the share price up .. i.e. a sudden price hike of the commodities, dramatic increase in the revenue etc. reverse split is not going to help at all..  I agree with the ...more
