Pure Frugal Genius Mr. Lewis Black.

How many times over the years have we seen this very same thing ?

NR's at the last point of shareholder frustrations to show them/us that the CEO can safely say "I have made another or multiple deals to save costs and improve our position".
Count them, its all on SEDAR.

I did say many years ago that other companies in the World would be begging for Lewis to be their CEO.
With 2 working mines and 2 mines to start on his plate, I hope he stays with us as a CEO and shareholder.

I dont care how much money he makes, and if he gets a pay rise/bonus, I would say he is worth every penny.

Dump hopper, crushers and screen buildings concrete works should be in the next few NR's. I hope.

LB is not going anywhere....and I am very confident making that statement. It is one thing to create a small successful company, and then look for a position in a larger company to progress your career. Anyone with passion to create and build will stay until they can't progress no further. As I have stated before, Almonty is not structured to be a small company. Their structure is ...more

totally agree with you 5ilver LB has a very long track record showing his caliber and quality. LB could have made alternate decisions to achieve a faster return on his investment, but didn't.  Furthermore, it is our decisions that define us. For the accomplishments to date, and the accomplishments in the future, I sincerely hope LB is rewarded accordingly and I wish him ...more

I'm very bullish on Almonty, mainly because of Sangdongs potential, but anytime you catch yourself posting things like this you should check your lips for Kool-Aid stains!

You have a very valid point GG, one should alway be cautious and people do change over time. So it is prudent for us to do a re-evaluation every so often. But for several of us long time investors, we have been waiting for NRs like this. Now we are so close to the end of the tunnel, so I think it is ok for us to drink a little Kool-Aid and relish in the moment.  It was ages ago ...more

Not sure what I said wrong on that GG. I was puzzled by the term "drink the Kool-aid" popping up in posts, so I Googled it. I can only guess that you mean "blind faith" ? If so, guilty and no regrets. A few years ago I said the same comment to answer the same point, and some others agreed. But I would never follow a cult leader and drink poison grape juice. After reading ...more
