Who is Building the Plant?

We continue to have questions about Lewis's seeming inability to get the plant built, or delays, or deliberate witholding info on NGO's in South Korea etc etc.
Perhaps we forgot that the Company building the plant is S--Material Handling Co Ltd.
The- -  - before S is deliberate as I cannot find who this is, perhaps the actual name is  just the initial or perhaps an abbreviation
i did find one on google (Shandong) but it seems more of building materials and not specializing in buildout to  turnkey operations.
i went back to 2021 and it always refers to S--
Do any of the engineering posters here have any info on who they are,, with research we could perhaps find out whether they are having some kind of problem, ie labour, equiplment shortage, permits etc and who knows what else?
Or perhaps it is as simple as Black not caring about the small retail investor (thats us)

Personally I am not worried. I think LB is very meticulous as to how the deployment unfolds at Sangdong. Controlling costs, staying within budget, and meeting timelines within minimal variance is essential for Almonty's image to be a major player. LB has already stated that they will be going straight into Phase2 when Phase1 is completed. Phase2 includes the Downstream Plant, so when ...more

QD I would agree with you.  No need to be worried. I would add to your points that LB owns way more shares than us so he has every incentive to see this through.   Additionally as we know the engeneer (Hatch) has to sign off  on every phase before a new drawdown is approved and released by the bank.  This has happened 6 times so far now and one more time coming soon ...more

Not worried and yes, a tad frustrated.. But it is general state of things and not particularly Almonty..  I am looking forward to the update on April 17th .. so let's see if there is any news release around that time..  FWIW

SEDAR and maybe HotCopper could give you the EPC name. I did read their website long ago and have zero issues with them. I dont remember the name and will not waste my time to dig it out. I have full respect for Lewis to dump POSCO in favour of a better deal. That is what he continues to do for the better of all shareholders, bank lenders, Hatch and his own massive stake in Almonty. The fact that ...more

I said : "I dont remember the name and will not waste my time to dig it out." Well I did spend less than a minute to find my old post from July 09 2022. All I did was look at my bullboard posts on my profile and sort of thought lets go back to page 10, and bang, there it was at the top. https://stockhouse.com/companies/bullboard?symbol=t.aii&postid=34812722 This ...more
