This news was very smart on many fronts regarding AIM and AC... Before this news I would say AC had the upper hand - and acted like they were AIM only saviour... Now AC is in real jeapardy of missing out totally on seat sales post 2020.. By AIM chartering their own flights (non AC) and also strengthening the brand of AP, AC might not get near the windfall of clients moving over from AP to AC vapour ware rewards program... I think this might quicken a new partnership between the two companies. AC might come back to the table, but does AIM really need them now? -Uber
