RE:When the market baffles youYou spoke too soon, it's down today....   But your point is valid.  I think the NCIB has been the only thing propping up the price.   It could also be that some in the market are actually encouraged by the promise of robust activism by Mittleman.  The AC deal was announced in August, and its nearly been an entire year with no plan at all for the post Aeroplan company.  MB getting active and promising to replace this board probably encourages some.
