That is not a sale.  Look at SEDI directly.   Mittleman lost direction and control of 4.1 million shares.  Mittleman Investment Mangement LLC is NOT a fund.  It is simply an investment management service.  Hence the name.  IT DIDN'T SELL THOSE SHARES.   It is true that many of those shares will end up on the market (probably some of them today), but he didn't sell them.  His clients pulled them out from Mittleman's control.  They are going to either manage those funds themselves, or give them to another manager. 

 I don't know why that is so difficult to grasp.
