RE:RE: lousy SP You really think its not too late for gold. I remember looking at Barrick when it was below 20 now in the mid 30's. Its hard for me to wrap my head around gold. It has no use really. I had Apple at 25 and sold it soon after. 
As far as ALA goes i didsell some to buy a new pickup but the rest has to sit there until if ever it gets into mid twenties. Then i will look at it and decide. 
I wouldn't have a clue where to start with gold but i will start to look. I used to follow Goldcorp a bit and Silver wheaton as well as Barrick but thats it.
