My issue isn't with the direction were heading, it's with Derek and his lack of adherence to timelines he himself is setting and the lack of accountablity he shows when they are missed. I haven't heard him once be contrite and just own it, it's always someone else's fault. I can't trust anything he says with respect to timing anymore and frankly this project is down to timing. I think he'd do himself a favour to atleast acknowlegde this pattern and commit to doing better.
As for Walter, yeah it was somewhat nonsensical, but he was making a point and I think he represents a portion of the shareholder base that are tired of hearing about (further) delays - myself included.
