AOT

This board reminds me of a lot of junior mining stocks especially those with a project under construction.  When the shareprice soared a few months ago everbody was happy and many called for a higher and higher shareprice.

How things have changed in the last  while as the shareprice continuously dropped. And now some are blaming the PR department.  Funny how they did not blame the PR department as the shareprice soared awhile ago. Maybe more PR could help the shareprice a bit but the biggest problem is many of us have personally witnessed many times with a junior miner in this situation is that it takes a lot of time for the project to get approved, financed and built and it can be extremely frustrating  for shareholders to wait for many years especially as they see the Teslas and Bitcoins of the world soaring day after day.

At the end of the day though as Mr Buffet once said. "In the short term the market is a popularity contest, in the long term its a weighing machine."

So while we wait lets do a little "Weighing" to pass the time.

The current market cap of Tesla and Bitcoin is aprox. $1.5 trillion US or aprox $2 trillion CDN.  And how much free cashflow do these two companies produce.  0

And then we have AOT with a market cap. of aprox.  $300 million CDN.  In a couple of years it will be producing aprox.  140 thousand ounces of gold and making aprox. $1000 US per ounce in free cashflow per ounce at todays gold prices.  That would equal aprox.  $140 million US or $180 million CDN. in free cashflow per year.

Tesla and Bitcoin $2 trillion CDN market cap.  0 free cashflow per year.

AOT $300 million CDN market cap.  $180 million CDN. free cashflow per year in two years.

Currently the market is in the "Popularity" phase for the Teslas and Bitcoins of the world.   In a couple years when AOT starts bringing in that large cashflow will be the time for the   "Weighing" to begin.

I don't know how anyone can blame the "PR" department. Ascot does not  have a PR dept. That might cost money and therefore maybe the bottom line would not allow nice big option awards for the hard working IR person. This is a useless der. in this company and it's no secret that there is at least one useless person drawing on the options pool. I say get rid of that person ...more

Current management has been here for just over 3 years, and  AOT has only been involved in Premiere for maybe 10 years tops.  Certainly not 16 years.  Before premiere John Toffin had AOT in many different plays to attempt to discover something.  Immediately before Premiere was Swamp Point, which is still our asset, I think they looked for Siver in Mexico as well as many other ...more

I agree with Molly4 in 99% of what he\she has to say. My only difference is in the compensation they give themselves without the stock producing for the shareholders. Us shareholders have to put out our hard earned money and sit and wait. For myself and many others we have put out our money at much higher prices only to watch the stock drop and drop and drop. Management does not have to put out a ...more

I agree for the most part True Gold. Molly has toned it down over the past few years. But, 2005 seems like 16 years to me. Maybe Molly's does math differently than I do. I'm not talking about newbies like Deryk et al, or "Premiere". I'm talking about the initial raise with Ascot. When I got in, the top three names on the management team were John Toffin, Bob Evans and Graham ...more

Well Wildhorse65 I agree with you 100%. Let me tell you about GOLD. The United States (power that be) can not afford for the price of gold to get anywhere close to what it should be. WHY? The answer is::: As the world's reserve currency that would signal that the US Dollar is in serious trouble. THE TRUTH IS IT REALLY IS IN TROUBLE. THE USA IS BANKRUPT. Gold is traded for the most part in US ...more

Thanks for the insight. I think I'll stay away after this one But, if anyone remembers Timbuktu that was the only other gold stock I ever owned roflmao. With all due respect I'm going to pass on your recommend of Buffalo pasture mines. I'm in this until they get a mine up amd running. Although, if I had known better I would have had more money working for me over the years than ...more
