I do a quick check of the trades at the end of day, I can’t count how many times there’s been a last minute trade to knock the stock back. There is a concerted effort by someone to do this, possibly for some other entity, it’s happened so many times, it’s NOT a coincidence. The logical explanation in my opinion? An entity is looking to buy Aquila and has enlisted someone to purposely hold the stock back. I’m not a lawyer, I don’t know if what’s going on is illegal but I can plainly see that it’s going on. Can management do something? If anyone at Aquila is reading Stockhouse then I urge them to at lease contact the TSX and make an inquiry. As Gold and Zinc prices continue to strengthen the Back Fort property looks better by the day, that should make it more difficult to do what we’re relentlessly seeing being done. If the person who’s doing this is reading this we just might see a backing off for a few days. :)
