Insider selling
This AQN insider sold more than half his stock. Perhaps he thinks it's getting a bit pricey, especially in light of the company's earnings. This is a real red flag.
Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp (TSE:AQN) Senior Officer Christopher Kenneth Jarratt sold 250,000 shares of Algonquin Power & Utilities stock in a transaction dated Friday, September 25th. The shares were sold at an average price of C$18.79, for a total value of C$4,698,100.00. Following the completion of the transaction, the insider now directly owns 209,402 shares of the company's stock, valued at C$3,935,166.14.

BTW, Jarratt is the founder of AQN. In the meanwhile, there hasn't been any insider selling of ALA stock since October 2019. However there's been lots of insider buying since then. Hmmm.

Alt33, Maybe you should think before you speak. I said in my previous post that there hasn't been any insider selling within ALA since October 2019. The trade you cite in your post was done in October 2019. Dummy!
