This SP is a Warren Buffett like buy.Trading below book value is just crazy by short term traders who throw out the baby with the bath water.But offers long term investors a top flight dividend  company even if its is cut to a 5% yield.Suncor cut its dividend by 50% and the tanked in half during the covid crisis.Then they increased the dividend now over pre covid payout.I rate AQN shares a screaming buy as the SP reflects a 50% div cut already.If the don't cut the div LOOOOOOOK UP!!!!!!!

A few years ago I warned Canadian Oil Sand management that they better get the SP up or Suncor would mount a hostile bid.COS ignored my warning.A few weeks later Suncor bid.These kind of assets like AQN has are capital intence to build out new.But trading below book value is like red meat to a rival company.I warned AQN to address the SP NOW! or face a unwanted bid.Any buyer would cut out the div
