When ... in TSX histroy ..
... has a utility or quasi-utility had a crash like that and NOT cut the dividend by 1/3 or half? I’m thinking Kinder Morgan, Altagas, IPL, CHE.UN, ATP (dead), Yellow Pages, .. etc.
The fact the dividend will be cut in half is a certainty, they signaled as much.

Jokes apart. Investors holsing AQN are ready for a dividend cut. But it may not be 50% because CEO said that divi is imp component of shafreholder returns. At thids point, we are all guessing. ALA was trading at $8 and has comeback a lot and has been increasing divi. Same is case with many oil companies incl SU. AQN is in a good business that is what matters. IMHO.

I was referring to Poster svsingh83 not you ,however I would notice that over a period of 14 years you have garnered one thumbs up leading me to conclude that collectively other Stockhouse members agree that you have nothing worthwhile to say.
