We  may  not  hear much  if anything  about  the dividend  on  January  12th.  Firstly  normally  the next dividend declaration date  is  about  March15th  over  two months  away-----a lot or little might happen over that time period  that could affect the dividend . 2ndly  the   dividend   is  a  BOD   decision  not  a CEO  decision. Now   the  CEO  may offer  some general  commentary on the dividend  but  he  is unlikely to be definitive .

I think everything will be completely clear after January 12th. Only a few trading days away. Very exciting for those that are already in.

In the meantime, SP has recovered from $8.70 to $9.88. More than 11% gain for smooth operators. Market over-reacted to Q3.

The share price had to recover from the $8.70 level. Those who took advantage of tax loss selling (weren't foolish) and made an excellent decision, after the required 30 day waiting time they are getting back in or already have done so.

..Jan.12th -a few points to consider..  (rbc) "Will AQN remain committed to the Kentucky Power acquisition? Unless AQN has made alternative arrangements with AEP (seller), AQN will be required to use reasonable best efforts to close the transaction and potentially file another application to the FERC for approval.
