Just read the Starboard Value presentation on Algonquin.  Have a read there's some very good intelligence in there.  They are certainly bullish and as we all know they have big bucks in here. As for the shorters and their paid negative nellies - your bear raid is ill conceived.  And to put forth garbage with no real facts or backing is absurd.  Not even the level of Grade ...more

You might want to try reading Simply Wall Street.  They don't have an axe to grind and have no conflict of interest - their estimation on the Dividend payout Ratio is -152% https://simplywall.st/stocks/ca/utilities/tsx-aqn/algonquin-power-utilities-shares/dividend Not a particularily robust outlook. I am sure they will turn the ship around.......just not any time soon I would really ...more

imo..."They may have 'big bucks in here,' however, this doesn't necessarily mean that they were correct in their proposal dated July 6th… Starboard Value LP presented their proposal to AQN during the first week of July when the yield on the 10-year treasury bond was at 4%….however, as of today, that yield has risen to over 4.9%….it's somewhat challenging to believe that they ...more
