MVC, located in Chile, has a long-term contract with the El Teniente Division (DET) of Corporacion Nacional del Cobre de Chile (Codelco) to process fresh and historic tailings from El Teniente. The Company operates in one segment, the production of copper concentrates under a tolling agreement with DET.

I think that they have changed their corporate strategy by returning capital to shareholders via dividends and share buybacks. i would think that they have studied the pros and cons of investing many millions in another operation vs. the current strategy and the current strategy came out on top.
